– Kilo means 100
– When measuring with a ruler you it is important to start at 0
– Standard units for length are millimetre, centimetre, metre and kilometre
– Estimate means a close enough guess.
This morning my class and I went out to under tekapua to measure how long the court was and the length was 30cm
