Recount: Term 2 Highlights 2024

 

This is the last week of Term 2. You are going to write to describe your Term 2 highlights. Share at least 3 highlights and explain why they were your favourite highlights this term.

Introduction Malo e Lelei, My name is Pesi and i’m going to talk about my Term 2 highlights about the year 7 step up programme.

 
Paragraph 1

Highlight 1

 My first highlight was playing the human tic tac toe. Human tic tac toe is when you have to put down 9 chairs into groups of 3 and we have to verse each other in our group. My group and I had to compete against some boys in our group and we smashed but then when it came to the last game of human tic tac toe we lost to the boys.

Highlight 2

 My second highlight was we had to go to Ms Lagitupu and we had to create a tik tok dance but we had to get into groups of three and then we get to perform but we only had probably 30 minutes to create a tik tok dance but my group and I already had one in mind and it was the kung fu panda song and when the timer was up its was time to perform i was nervous until we went up and while we were performing our dance i looked back at my other teammate in my group she was not doing properly but it was okay because it does not have to be perfect it’s all about having fun.

Highlight 3

 My third highlight was when the year 7s got to watch a movie on the last day even though we were just chilling. I still had fun but i don’t remember what movie we were watching but i nearly slept because i was tired so i just layed on one of my friends legs.
Conclusion I felt happy and grateful we got to do those things and I had fun but overall I was happy and felt a little confident while the year 8s are away at camp but too bad my friends were in another team but i still had fun and enjoyed it.

Term 2 Inquiry play.

Task Description: Malo e lelei my name is Pesi for term 2 Inquiry team 5 had to do a play and we had to go into a class this is my group performing Nooroa, Hepa, Valenzia and Shirley-rose. I’m the teacher and everyone else in my group are the students. The name of our play was Molly’s messy desk. We did not have any costumes at first and I was nervous. I think my group did pretty well and what we should have done better was memorized our part and move a lot but my favourite thing of doing our play was this one time we all memorized our lines but then when it came to the day we all forgot so we just read from the book.

Year 7 step up Highlights 2024

Recount: Year 7 STEP UP Highlights

 

Last week we had the Year 7 STEP UP Programme. Write a recount, sharing what your three main highlights were and why.

  Year 7s,ms Tipene,whaea saf,mrs Ilaoa,mrs Lagitupu,tyson,miss white, and mr ishikawa, the yr7s had a step up programme while the Year 8s went camp, on wednesday the 8th of may 2024, At Pt England school,Because the teachers want some of the Yr7s to step and to be confident.

Highlight 1

 My first highlight was when we all had a vote for the group leaders and my group was called Buckles, my leaders were Ariyana and justin.

 My second highlight was when we had to ms Lagitupu, what we did there was we had to go into 3 or 4 groups and we had to make a dance to dance in front of the audience(students),

 My third highlight was when all of the groups played dodgeball and whoever won had to verse the other team. The team that lost had to stay out and wait until the game was finished.

Last week on Wednesday the 8th of may 2024. The Yr 8s went to camp which meant the yr 7s had to stay because they had a step up programme.

 

My first highlight was when my group had to choose who our group leaders were. My group was called Buckles. My leaders were Ariyana and justin.

 

My second highlight was when we had to go to Ms Lagitupu, what we did there was we had to go into groups of 4 or more and we had to make a dance to perform in front of the audience(students).

 

My third highlight was when all of the groups played dodgeball and whoever won had to verse the other team. The team that lost had to stay out and wait until the game was finished.

 

My last highlight was when we played human tic tac toe with whaea saf in the hall. It was fun and I enjoyed it.

 

What i felt about that challenge, it was fun and i felt happy because of how we had three days of the step up challenge and three days is kind of enough but i wanna do more of the step up challenge and i was grateful and i enjoyed it.

About Me

Hello my name is Pesi Mau and I’m 10 years old and this is all about me. I have 4 siblings, 3 brothers and 1 sister. My culture is full Tongan. My favourite food is McDonalds because of the cheese it sometimes melts, I also like the bun because it’s nice and toasted and the paddy is so nice and hot and has flavour on top of it. My favourite colour is blue because it’s my papa’s favourite colour and my other favourite colour is red because it’s my nana’s favourite colour.My favourite sport is touch. It’s really easy for me to run straightC my other favourite sport is netball because all of the positions are my favourite. My favourite rugby team is The Tongan Rugby Team because it’s just my culture and I love my culture. My most favourite thing is to spend time with my family and friends. I just love my family so much and I love
hanging out with my friends.
